For next Fall/Winter, the heritage and iconic spirit of a creative journey that has marked the history and imagery of an international high-altitude lifestyle, now drive the re-interpretation of Postcard signature codes, displaying an ultra-contemporary take on elegance and comfort.
The dynamic attitude and “all day long" function remain the same, but is brought forward to the present day by modernising both the colour palette and material range, and inspiring a “la dolce vita in the mountains” feeling from the early morning ski down to après ski rendezvous in St. Moritz, Cortina and Courmayeur.
Technical surfaces co-exist and integrate with precious wools, revisiting the concepts of functionality and performance in a unique way, with sophisticated details like the latest duo-stripe motif: a symbol that evokes the trail left by skis on the snow, featured both inside and outside the garments, as well as the dual-contrasting graphics on fur trims.
In pure white, yellow, orange, coffee, forest green and fuchsia for women. Sport nylon fabrics are worked in three-dimensional textures that mix different shades, creating an eye-catching colour-block look for all ski attire. Multi-layered pieces are integrated with visors and cloths for polishing ski masks. Stretch soft-shell materials, which in the female variants are enriched by lavish combinations of fur, capture the essence of Postcard.
The nylon combined with wool, re-worked in a new refined version of the bouclé mountain coat. The leather mixed with padded fabrics. The neoprene effects and the continuous blend of various materials. The luxurious fox and rex fur collars. The duffle coat revised with a technical twist, with buttons and elastic banding. Finally, above all, the nostalgic sense of the interior linings, which mindfully quote the scripts and fluorescent graphics of the old postcards sent from the ski resorts, all drawn from the historical archives of Postcard.
